The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a 1-5 year Restructuring professional to join our Adelaide team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping its future and contributing to high-impact engagements. You will assist our clients to restore stability and maximise value through financial and operational challenges on restructuring, turnaround and insolvency engagements. Partnering with boards, management teams and financiers facing situations of financial distress, we quickly identify root causes, formulate turnaround strategies and implement value-maximising restructures.  We advise companies across all industry sectors and business sizes. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery and day‑to‑day execution of restructuring engagements, including financial management and core project tasks
  • Apply industry and market awareness to help identify, assess and address key issues impacting client businesses
  • Perform financial, commercial and qualitative analysis to support client advice and recommendations
  • Assist with the development and use of financial models, forecasts and reporting outputs
  • Support quality control processes to ensure high‑standard deliverables
  • Contribute to the provision of high‑quality client service and the development of strong, trusted client relationships

 

About You 

  • A genuine interest in restructuring, turnaround and special situations work
  • Previous experience in restructuring, audit or assurance
  • Prior relevant experience within a professional services or advisory environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally
  • Well‑developed business and commercial acumen for your level
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
  • A university degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline;
  • CA or progress toward Chartered Accountants ANZ membership is highly desirable
