The Opportunity

The team brings together expertise across computer science, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, and financial accounting to deliver practical, data-driven solutions. We apply a structured analytics approach to convert complex inputs into clear, actionable outcomes for clients and stakeholder.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end data analytics engagements, from data acquisition and preparation through to analysis, insight generation and client‑ready outputs across a range of matters.
- Design and oversee robust analytical models (diagnostic, descriptive and prescriptive) that support decision‑making, risk identification and quantification of financial outcomes.
- Apply advanced analytics to payroll and workforce matters, including underpayment identification, payroll recalculation support, exception analysis and remediation insights.
- Translate complex business, operational and pay‑rule requirements into defensible analytical logic, ensuring assumptions, calculations and outputs are transparent and auditable.
- Direct rigorous data quality, completeness and validation processes, identifying issues early and driving remediation of data gaps, inconsistencies and limitations.
- Develop clear, compelling dashboards and reporting (e.g. Power BI) that communicate trends, risks, progress and outcomes to senior and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Partner with clients and engagement leads to structure workstreams, communicate findings and contribute practical, outcomes‑focused recommendations.
- Coach and review junior team members, maintaining high technical and quality standards while building capability across analytics and payroll remediation delivery.
About You
- You bring a methodical, logical approach to problem‑solving, underpinned by strong quantitative and analytical capability.
- You have a hands‑on, curious and inquisitive mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding how data behaves and how insights drive outcomes.
- You demonstrate a strong grounding across the data analytics lifecycle, including data collection, cleansing, modelling and visualisation.
- You are comfortable working with large and complex datasets, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to derive accurate, defensible insights.
- You have experience using analytics and programming tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL or similar technologies.
- You are familiar with data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and can communicate insights clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- You understand how to plan and manage multiple workstreams concurrently, meeting deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a STEM‑related discipline, and have a strong interest in applying analytics across advisory, forensic, payroll and workforce‑related matters.
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is beneficial, but not essential.
