The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Senior Analyst to join our Restructuring team, based in our Melbourne office on a full time basis. 

As part of our Restructuring team, you will assist our clients to restore stability and maximise value through financial and operational challenges on restructuring, turnaround and insolvency engagements.  Partnering with boards, management teams and financiers facing situations of financial distress, we quickly identify root causes, formulate turnaround strategies and implement value-maximising restructures.  We advise companies across all industry sectors and business sizes. 

This role is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operational and administrative management of both restructuring and insolvency engagements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery and daytoday management of restructuring engagements, including financial management and core project tasks  

  • Apply industry and market knowledge to anticipateidentify and address issues relevant to the client’s business. 

  • Support quality control processes to ensure highstandard deliverables  

  • Perform financial, commercial and qualitative analysis to support client advice and recommendations  

  • Assist with the development and use of financial models, forecasts and reporting outputs  

  • Contribute to the provision of highquality client service and the development of strong, trusted client relationships 

 

About You

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge. 

  • Prior relevant experience within a professional services environment (insolvency experience preferred but not essential). 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally  

  • Welldeveloped business and commercial acumen for your level  

  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism  

  • University Degree in Business or related subject and full or part-way qualification to Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand membership is highly desirable 

  • CA or progress toward Chartered Accountants ANZ membership is highly desirabl
