We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Team Assistant to join our Melbourne team. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will attend to the general administrative needs of the Melbourne office and provide some personal assistant support when required.
This is a permanent part-time role of 30 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We’re open to discussing working hour arrangements, including the potential to transition to a full-time position.
What you will do
- Office and administration support, including attending to incoming calls and mail, photocopying, scanning, filing, printing and binding, and general formatting of documents.
- Maintenance of general office areas, including the employee kitchen and common areas and ensuring internal meeting rooms are always tidy.
- Overseeing office supplies and equipment to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness in the printer and stationery areas.
- Monitoring shared in-boxes and other functional mailboxes and forwarding to recipient as necessary.
- Providing support to the Melbourne administration team, including assistance with AMEX expense claims, client invoicing, CRM management and travel management.
- Provide reception coverage when the Receptionist is on lunch or leave, including attending to all calls and greeting clients as they arrive to the office.
Who you are
- Previous administration experience, preferably within a corporate environment
- Possess intermediate level skills in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- You will be pro-active, enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A good team player, with a focus on supporting the wider team.
