The Opportunity
Our Debt & Capital Advisory team is experiencing strong growth and continued investment, creating an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager / Manager to join the team in Sydney.
Working with a high-performing and collaborative team, you will advise corporate and private equity clients on capital raising and structuring decisions. You will gain exposure to a wide range of complex financing situations, sectors, and debt & capital solutions; working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in the delivery of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of debt advisory engagements, managing key workstreams end-to-end

Analyse financials to assess debt capacity, serviceability and funding requirements

Build and review financial models, including structuring, sensitivities and returns

Lead preparation of lender and investor materials to a high, client-ready standard

Support and manage debt raising processes, including lender engagement and execution

Advise on debt structures, pricing and key terms across a range of capital products

Apply market and credit insights to identify risks and opportunities for clients

Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality, commercially focused outcomes

Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development

Contribute to client engagement delivery and broader business development initiatives
About You
-
3–6 years’ experience in a relevant role, such as leveraged finance, acquisition finance, debt advisory, capital advisory, or credit analysis

Experience gained within a bank, investment bank, professional services or advisory firm

Exposure to a range of debt and capital products (experience beyond senior debt preferred)

Strong financial analysis and modelling capability, with advanced Excel skills

Experience preparing client-ready materials in PowerPoint

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and commercial acumen

Collaborative and professional approach, with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated curiosity, learning mindset and commitment to ongoing development.
