The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and high-performing practice working at the intersection of security, risk, governance and assurance.

You will work alongside experienced practitioners delivering enterprise security risk engagements across a broad range of industries. The role offers exposure to senior client stakeholders and involvement in complex and high-profile projects spanning critical infrastructure, government and regulated sectors.

The successful candidate will have a strong risk, audit or assurance foundation, coupled with an interest in security risk management and organisational resilience.

 

Key Responsibilities

You will support a broad range of security risk, governance and assurance engagements, including enterprise security risk assessments, security frameworks and governance reviews, security maturity and assurance assessments, CIRMP and TSRMP development and reviews, regulatory compliance activities, and security risk assessments across personnel, physical, information and third-party security domains.

You will also:

  • Analyse risk and control environments and develop practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare reports, executive briefings and client presentations.
  • Support engagement delivery, including planning, fieldwork and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Support the development and mentoring of junior team members.

 

About You

You are a motivated and analytical professional who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering practical outcomes for clients. You will ideally have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in consulting, audit, assurance, risk advisory, governance, risk management or a related industry role.
  • Experience conducting risk - preferably security risk - assessments, assurance reviews or audit engagements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and report writing skills.
  • The ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting, Risk Management, Law, Security, Criminology or a related discipline.
  • CA, CPA, CIA or equivalent professional qualification will be highly regarded.
