The Opportunity

 

We are seeking an experienced IT support professional to join our national IT team based in Sydney. You will support the firm’s IT environment, including support for laptops, meeting rooms, printers and mobile devices, as well as applications, software and user access. You will report to the National Operations Manager and work closely with the national IT team.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver high quality customer service in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical knowledge and act as the first point of contact for support issues via phone, email or in person.
  • Follow standard Service Desk operating procedures by accurately logging requests and incidents using Fresh Service.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to senior team members as required.
  • Troubleshoot and/or perform installations of hardware and software.
  • Perform ad-hoc maintenance on peripheral equipment such as laptops, printers, mobile handsets and other IT hardware.
  • Administer and update IT systems such as Azure Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune and Office 365 Administration.
  • Maintain and develop IT processes, procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications and Experiences

 

  • Experience in an IT support or service desk role supporting Microsoft environments.
  • Information Technology qualification or relevant certification.
  • Microsoft certification and/or ITIL Foundation Certificate (preferred).
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and mobile device support and management.
  • Intermediate understanding of network management and LAN/WAN concepts.
  • Experience with Fresh Service or a similar ticketing system.
  • Experience with Windows Server for items such as Azure Active Directory and Print Services etc.
