McGrathNicol is a specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm trusted by blue chip clients to partner with them to devise and implement pragmatic solutions for complex business issues. 

 

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Team Assistant to join our dynamic Deals and Performance team in Sydney. In this fast-paced and diverse environment, you’ll provide vital administrative support to our Partners, their Personal Assistant, and the broader team. You’ll be part of a high-performing Administration team that plays a key role in supporting the Sydney office. 

  

What you will do 

 

  • Use Outlook Management and CRM to update contacts, make calendar appointments, send meeting requests, archive emails, track business development and marketing initiatives for the team. 

  • Office administration support including formatting and issuing reports, presentations, emails, memos, letters, file notes, agendas and minutes. 

  • Answering telephone calls, taking messages, and reading, directing and responding to emails as appropriate. 

  • Travel coordination. 

  • Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors, providing refreshments to visitors to the office, and coordinating meeting room bookings. 

  • Use of SAP to open job codes, raise bills, enter invoices, run reports, complete monthly AMEX expenses, and complete weekly timesheets. 

  • Assistance with internal and external event coordination and reception duties if required. 

 

Who you are 

  

  • Previous experience in general administration, hospitality, or customer service would be highly advantageous. 

  • Possess intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. 

  • You will be pro-active, professional, enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritise effectively. 

  • Confident team player with a “can do” and pro-active attitude.  

  • Ability to deal with sensitive matters confidentially, tactfully, and diplomatically. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and an eye for formatting. 

  • Looking for career growth within administration or as a Personal Assistant.
